I recently came across an article written by Noam Chomsky, called What Makes Mainstream Media Mainstream. It touches upon a variety of examples of and the recent history of psychological warfare and its role within the media. He believes that the mainstream media is broken down into 'Serious news' for the uppercrust, and 'Entertainment news' for the middle/lower classes.
"The real mass media are basically trying to divert people. Let them do something else, but don’t bother us (us being the people who run the show). Let them get interested in professional sports, for example. Let everybody be crazed about professional sports or sex scandals or the personalities and their problems or something like that. Anything, as long as it isn’t serious. Of course, the serious stuff is for the big guys. "We" take care of that.
What are the elite media, the agenda-setting ones? The New York Times and CBS, for example. Well, first of all, they are major, very profitable, corporations. Furthermore, most of them are either linked to, or outright owned by, much bigger corporations, like General Electric, Westinghouse, and so on. They are way up at the top of the power structure of the private economy which is a very tyrannical structure. Corporations are basically tyrannies, hierarchic, controled from above. If you don’t like what they are doing you get out. The major media are just part of that system."

The most famous of the characters emerging from this propaganda think-tank was Edward Bernays. Committee Chairman, George Creel, under an Executive Order from Woodrow Wilson, ran this propaganda service at a cost of $4,912,553 to the American taxpayer.
The committee used newsprint, posters, radio, telegraph, cable and movies to broadcast its message. It recruited about 75,000 "Four Minute Men," volunteers who spoke about the war at social events for an ideal length of four minutes, considering that the average human attention span was judged at the time to be four minutes. They covered the draft, rationing, war bond drives, victory gardens and why America was fighting. It was estimated that by the end of the war, they had made more than 7.5 million speeches to 314 million people in 5,200 communities.

How much cred could Chomsky have if he is so widely promoted and regularly appears on fake news Greenberg channels such as Russia Times? Just another fraud propped up with a bunch of pseudo-intellectual hype. Alex Jones for eggheads. He promotes their plans under the guise of being critical of them.

Truth trumps credibility every time if we look at the message regardless of the messenger.

DeleteYes, his association with RT is suspicious, but his body of work covering Anarcho-Syndicalism and Libertarian Socialism, and his contribution to linguistics cannot be disrespected. We are dealing here with a giant intellect, and he's from a Philly ghetto! DeleteI doubt Chomsky is Hefner(relatives perhaps), but his background should be thoroughly investigated, and it's possible he plays additional roles. In my opinion, Chomsky was a plant from the beginning, and much of the information known about him may be fictitious. These people fake academic achievements all the time, and the books attributed to Chomsky could have easily been written by ghost writers. Regardless of the ism: Anarcho Syndicalism Libertarianism,Communism, Capitalism etc. The people most associated/publicized with any ism, are almost always found to be assets of the same individuals. In my view, it's unlikely Chomsky is any different.
DeleteI can't really subscribe to this. Do you actually STILL believe all the official lore about prominent scientists? Just think of the deserved dismantling of "science icon", or crook, Einstein. With me, reading stuff like "and he grew up in PHILLY of ALL places" serves as comic relief no more. This is OFFICIAL SCIENTIFIC FICTION for the useless eaters, which is made up not only of their collective effusions, but necessarily has to include their highly kludged vitae.
DeleteRegarding his role as a linguist, I can only say that having to study his work was not only a pure waste of time, but a literally revolting experience. In essence, he squeezes language into a mathematical framework, wich in my eyes has been and always will be an objectionable undertaking that misperceives the very nature of language and everything that can be thought of it. I have found his purpose- and aimless dissection of language to be repulsive and extremely prejudicial to coming to any meaningful linguistic discovery, much less gaining any substantial insight and/or knowledge that could be applied to real life. In short, studying Chomsky's linguistic effusions will gain you NOTHING if language is of any interest to you, yet they have managed to make it obligatory "fundamental linguistics" at any university the world over. It is truly sad that the systematic frustration of true insight that might be of any actual benefit and/or serve to improve the human condition in Academia has advanced this far.
It was meant as comic relief but good point. Perhaps you're right about the linguistic discovery and yes, the official history of science is full of nonsense and lies. But as a scientist, I must entertain all plausible theories.

If true they really don't want us to know is true identity. Maybe Markus is right with the Hefner comparison, but I haven't seen any images good enough to make a proper ear comparison.

Look on google images how hard they try to hide images of John Cazale, who I believe could very well be Rahm Emanuel... Cazale played in THE GODFATHER and Emanuel they call "GODFATHER." You can't even find a recent photo of Cazale... Emanuel's left ear sticks out and I can't even find a photo of Cazale's left ear on google. I guess DallasGoldBug is make these people paranoid... But listen to Emanuel's voice and compare it to Cazale... I'll let you decide for yourself.

I remember Iowa's football coach at the time of the TV SHOW COACH was HAYDEN FRY, and Craig T Nelson on Coach called himself Hayden Fox... So, I thought maybe that was a clue to something... I then thought Harkin and Nelson resembled each other somewhat...
